Red Light Scalp Massager: Head Styles, Shower Use & First Charge
The Red Light Scalp Massager combines four rotating kneading heads, two speed settings and a central red light panel. Its blush body, rose-gold top and flexible hand strap are designed for an easy at-home massage routine. Here is how to choose the heads, prepare for first use and care for the device.
Which model does this guide cover?
This guide covers the blush and rose-gold model with two speeds, a 900mAh battery and USB-C charging. It is different from our three-mode Electric Scalp Massager, which comes in white, green and blue. Check the product name and the supplied manual before following a guide.
Four rotating heads, two different head styles
The massager uses four heads at a time. The supplier's packing image shows eight silicone attachments in total: four pointed heads and four rounded-node heads. Choose one matching set, fit it securely with the device switched off, and follow the manual when changing attachments.
The heads rotate in a kneading motion as you guide the massager. There is no need to press firmly. Begin at the lower of the two speed settings and move slowly. Keep long hair clear of the moving joints; stop if a head catches your hair or the massage feels uncomfortable.
What does “Red Light Support” mean?
The supplier uses this phrase for the red panel positioned between the massage heads. The light accompanies the kneading massage. No verified wavelength, irradiance or model-specific hair-growth results have been provided, so the light should not be treated as a proven hair-loss or scalp-condition treatment.
The supplier's follicle graphic is an illustration, not a measured demonstration of how far this device's light penetrates. Choose the massager for its practical massage features: rotating heads, adjustable speed, detachable attachments and cordless use.
First charge and the 15-minute timer
The supplier specifies a 900mAh rechargeable battery and approximately 2–3 hours to charge by USB-C. Use the charging method specified in the included manual, charge in a dry place and unplug before use. Do not use the device while it is charging.
The automatic shut-off activates after 15 minutes. This is a stopping point, not a requirement to complete a full 15-minute session. Begin with a short, comfortable massage and follow the manual for duration and frequency.
A reliable full-charge operating time is not available: the imported supplier FAQ gives an inconsistent estimate. We therefore do not promise a specific number of sessions from each charge.
Wet or dry use: what IPX6 means for your routine
The supplier rates the device IPX6 and describes wet and dry use, including the shower. Keep it above water: do not submerge it or use it in a filled bath. Keep the charging connection dry and never charge the device near water.
Switch the device off before cleaning. Detach and rinse the heads separately, wipe the body, and let the parts dry before reassembling or storing. Follow any additional cleaning directions in the supplied manual.
Beyond the scalp
The supplier also shows the massager on the neck, shoulders, arms, waist and legs. Use light contact on intact skin and follow the areas permitted in the manual. Avoid the eyes, front of the throat and irritated or injured skin.
This is a personal massager for relaxation, not a medical device. If you have a scalp condition or concerns about light sensitivity, ask a qualified clinician before use.
