Safety & first use
Safety & first use
Use only on fully dry, detangled human hair or synthetic hair specifically approved for heat styling at this tool’s settings. Check the wig maker’s instructions first: the lowest setting is 280°F, which is too hot for some heat-friendly fibers. Never use on ordinary non-heat-resistant synthetic hair. Start at the lowest permitted setting and test a hidden section. Hot teeth can burn skin even with the guard attached; keep clear of your scalp, ears, face and lace base. Style wigs on a secure stand when their care instructions require it. Keep away from water and children. Rest on a heat-resistant surface using the stand. Switch off, unplug and allow to cool completely before storage; auto-off is a backup, not a substitute for unplugging.

THE FINISH MAKES THE LOOK
Laid roots. A polished part. A little extra bling.
Give your favorite wig the finishing attention it deserves. The narrow heated teeth let you focus on small sections around the part and roots, then smooth the lengths for a sleek look.
Choose Gold or Red for a styling tool that looks as good on your vanity as it does in your routine.

SMALL DETAILS. A FINISHED LOOK.
Your styling routine, with the details covered.
Smooth & shape
Press small sections for a sleek finish or guide the ends into a soft bend. One comb, different finishing touches.
Choose your heat
Three settings—280°F, 360°F and 400°F—let you work within your hair’s permitted heat range.
Style with control
A detachable guard, swivel cord and fold-out stand help with handling and resting the tool between sections.

THREE SETTINGS. YOUR HAIR’S LIMITS.
The right heat starts with the right hair.
Choose from 280°F, 360°F and 400°F using the handle controls. The supplier lists ceramic/PTC heating, a 20–30-second heat-up and a 60-minute automatic shut-off.
Check your wig first. Human hair and heat-friendly fibers can have different limits. Even a heat-friendly wig may need less than this comb’s lowest 280°F setting. Test a hidden section and follow its maker’s care guide.
CHOOSE YOUR FINISH
Gold glow or Red statement?
Two color finishes. The same supplier-listed heat settings. A detachable black guard with either choice.

Gold
A warm metallic finish with a sparkling handle.

Red
A bold red finish for a standout vanity moment.
YOUR FINISHING ROUTINE
Prep. Section. Smooth. Finish.
- Start dry. Detangle completely and check the hair or wig maker’s heat limit.
- Choose carefully. Fit the guard while cool, select the lowest compatible setting and test a hidden section.
- Work small. Use controlled passes to smooth the roots and part, keeping heat away from skin, lace and adhesives.
- Finish & unplug. Shape the ends if desired, then switch off, unplug and let the comb cool fully on a heat-resistant surface.
A hot comb is a heated styling tool, not a dryer or a treatment for hair growth. Follow the enclosed instructions and your wig’s care guide.

A better finish starts before you switch it on.
Hot comb vs. flat iron, wig heat limits and the small-section approach to roots and parts—our guide helps you decide how this tool fits your routine.
GOOD TO KNOW
Your hot comb questions, answered.
Wigs, heat settings, the black guard and how to get a polished finish with care.
Can I use this electric hot comb on wigs?
Yes—on compatible human-hair wigs and synthetic wigs specifically approved for heat styling at the selected temperature. Check the exact fiber’s care instructions first. The lowest setting is 280°F, so a wig with a lower heat limit is not compatible. Do not use hot tools on ordinary synthetic wigs. Follow the wig maker’s guidance on whether to style it off the head.
Will a pressing comb help flatten wig roots and the part?
The narrow heated comb is designed to smooth small sections near the roots and along the part for a flatter, more polished finish. Work on dry, detangled hair in controlled sections. Keep the hot teeth clear of skin, the lace base and adhesives; avoid repeated passes. The finish depends on the hair, heat setting and technique.
What temperature should I use: 280°F, 360°F or 400°F?
Use only a setting within the hair or wig maker’s heat limit, starting at the lowest compatible level and testing a hidden section. 400°F is the tool’s maximum, not a recommended temperature for every hair type or wig. If your wig needs a temperature below 280°F, choose a different tool.
Is this a hot comb, a flat iron or a curling iron?
It is a corded electric hot comb, also called a pressing comb. Its heated teeth smooth and shape sections of hair. You can guide the ends into a bend or flip, but it has no flat-iron plates, curling barrel or clamp for winding uniform curls.
Does the black guard prevent burns?
The detachable black guard adds a barrier around the comb, but it does not make the heated tool burn-proof. Fit or remove it only when the tool is cool and unplugged. Keep the tool away from your scalp, ears and face and follow the included instructions.
Can I use the hot comb on wet hair or a freshly washed wig?
No. This is a heated styling comb, not a blow-dryer. Hair and the wig base must be fully dry and detangled before use. Follow your hair or wig maker’s directions for any heat protectant and allow the hair to dry completely before styling.
What is the difference between the Red and Gold hot comb?
They are the two color finishes offered here. Both include the detachable black guard and are listed with the same heat settings. Select Red or Gold to see its matching image and current price; the prices can differ by color.
Is it cordless, and does it switch off automatically?
It is corded and must be plugged in during use; there is no rechargeable battery. The supplier photo lists 110–240 V AC and approximately 60-minute automatic shut-off. Check the appliance label and supplied plug for your outlet. Always switch off and unplug after use, even with auto-off.
